Abstract:
The foam properties of the compound system of sodium carboxylate of fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether (Ross-Miles) and isomeric fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether (IC10 EO8) were studied by C12-14E9c foam tester. The results show that the compound system has good foaming power, when the mass ratio of C12-14E9C and IC10 E08 is 6:4, the mass concentration of the compound system is 2g/L, foaming power is the strongest, and with the mass concentration continues to increase, the foam stability is obviously worse; The compound system has strong resistance to hard water, when the water hardness is below 400 mg/kg, the foaming power and foam stability of the system do not change with the water hardness; The addition of salt has little effect on the foaming power of the system, however, when the mass fraction of sodium chloride and trisodium citrate is 0.5%, the foam stability of the system will be greatly reduced; The foaming power of the system increases and the foam stability decreases with the increase of temperature; The pH value increases, the foaming power of the system showed an increasing trend. When pH> 5, the foaming power remained basically unchanged, and the foam stability of the system changed little when pH = 3~9.

Abstract:
The invention relates to a high-carbon isomeric fatty alcohol and a preparation method and application thereof. The preparation method comprises the steps of:(1) reacting a high-carbon isomeric olefin with a sulfonyl chloride to prepare a high-carbon isomeric olefin chloride;(2) the high carbon isomeric olefin chloride prepared in step (1) is mixed with a strong basic catalyst, sodium dibutylnaphthyl sulfonate to prepare high carbon isomeric alcohol;(3) the step (2) preparation of high-carbon isomeric fatty alcohols by hydrogenation of high-carbon isomeric alkenols. Its structure is wherein R and R are selected from a branched saturated alkyl group of 1 to 8 carbon atoms, and the R and R structures may be the same or different; Preferably, the total number of carbon atoms of R and R is 8 to 16. The invention has the advantages of simple synthesis process, easy availability of raw materials, less side reactions and definite product structure, is especially suitable for preparing narrow molecular weight distribution primary alcohol polyoxyethylene ether and its derivatives, and has good emulsification, wetting and low temperature properties.
